My Heart is True as Steel

I am in love. I have been unable to change my appearance in Second Life for nearly a week - I’m just having too much fun as I am! It’s all Achariya Maktoum’s fault. She’s been blogging the fantastic skins from MiaSofia (URL, SLURL) since late last month, beginning with the startlingly vivid Blu Beauty skin. When she blogged the Steel Starlet skin, it was love at first sight. Two words: “drow freckles.” I was a little worried that the skin wouldn’t match my favorite ears from Illusions (URL, SLURL), but they are scripted with multiple skintone and jewelry options. I chose the first skintone in the Adam ‘n Eve (URL, SLURL) category and it matched perfectly!

I also knew exactly what I was going to wear with it - I dusted off my Elven Warrior armor from Random Inspirations (URL, SLURL). I love this set, but it’s all prim, so fitting it to my pudgy tummy took some doing! A quick trip to Magika (URL, SLURL) turned up the perfect hair to complete the look.

Of course, it wasn’t enough to just get dressed, I also needed the perfect location! L’Arbre Monde (SLURL) is one of my favorite places to explore in SL. It’s like stepping into a traditional fantasy roleplaying game, with a very, very large tree, a village, and many hidden surprises. I felt right at home. Go check it out for yourself!
